Staging Selves: Power, Performativity & Portraiture is an exhibition curated by Maya Kovskaya that will examine the various ways "that power inheres in the gaze, and the gaze constructs as much as it captures".
Opening at Sakshi Gallery in Mumbai on Friday, September 2, the exhibition includes work by Ravi Agarwal, Sheba Chhachhi, Gauri Gill, Han Bing, Samar Jodha, Malekeh Nayiny, Tejal Shah, O Zhang, and myself.
