Lotuses and Crocodiles

A recent miniature from the ongoing collaborations with artist R. Vijay of Udaipur. The gold border work by Shankar Kumawat is exceptional. As I prepare to leave Udaipur, and Rajasthan, (for a new studio in a more southern location), perhaps Lotuses and Crocodiles is the perfect metaphor for the past four years of life in this town.
